About The Position

Camp Berryessa is seeking an energetic, dependable, and outgoing associate for its morning team. This active, hands-on role combines front desk and member service, membership sales and lead follow-up, workout support, facility cleaning, and marketing assistance. The associate is expected to demonstrate exercises during group classes, engage members and prospective members, and perform daily facility cleaning, including bathrooms. The schedule is 4:30 AM–10:30 AM on weekdays, and pay is $19 per hour.

Requirements

• Be available for the entire 4:30 AM–10:30 AM weekday shift.
• Be dependable, punctual, and comfortable working early mornings.
• Have a friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
• Be comfortable making outbound sales calls and following up with leads.
• Be passionate about fitness and confident demonstrating exercises in front of groups.
• Be willing and able to perform daily cleaning duties, including bathroom cleaning.
• Be self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales, customer service, or fitness experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Check members into classes, answer questions, and handle daily front desk operations and administrative tasks.
• Make outbound calls and send follow-up texts to prospective members.
• Schedule introductory workouts and appointments; explain membership options, promotions, and fitness programs.
• Help convert leads and trial participants into paying members and build relationships with existing members to support retention.
• Assist the lead trainer by demonstrating exercises and proper movements or modifications under the trainer's direction.
• Encourage and motivate members during workouts.
• Assist with workout equipment setup and breakdown.
• Perform daily cleaning to keep the facility clean, safe, welcoming, organized, and presentable.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, workout floors, common areas, equipment, and high-touch surfaces; empty trash and restock bathroom supplies.
• Capture workout videos, photos, and member engagement content.
• Assist with social media content creation, gym promotions, community events, and marketing initiatives.
