About The Position

The Front Desk Attendant provides friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional service to guests at The Inn at SentryWorld. The role creates a positive first impression and delivers a luxury guest experience through check-in and check-out, guest information, payment processing, and coordination with hotel teams. The position is full-time and may require nonstandard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Positive and upbeat personality.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work nonstandard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in by confirming guest information, verifying room rates, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, providing welcome packets, and directing guests to their rooms.
• Provide accurate information in person and over the phone about hotel policies, services, amenities, and special promotions.
• Assist guests with check-out, ensure room and service charges are correctly accounted for, process payments, and post charges to guest accounts.
• Balance cash, credit card, and check transactions at the end of each shift.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and complaints, and communicate outstanding issues requiring monitoring or follow-up to management in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room counts, room status, maintenance issues, and special requests.
