About The Position
Hospitality Management Corporation (HMC), a Dallas-based privately held provider of hospitality management services, is hiring a Front Desk Agent for the Baymont by Wyndham of Hearne, Texas. The role supports hotel front desk operations and guest services. The hourly rate is $13.00. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Stable work history.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete required tasks on time.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Effectiveness in handling workplace problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Effectiveness in listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving guest concerns and issues.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with an IHG-branded hotel is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and manage check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
- Assist guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations.
- Address and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate guest records and room key inventory.
- Support front desk operations as needed.
