About The Position

Carolina Chemical Equipment Company, a Division of Kelsan, is hiring a motivated, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate for its Charleston team. The role serves walk-in customers in the pressure-washing industry, helping them select equipment, replacement parts, and cleaning chemicals. The associate also maintains the showroom, handles sales transactions and inventory, receives shipments, restocks shelves, and supports outside sales and service teams as needed.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn technical product knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

• Experience with tools or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with product selection and purchases.
• Recommend pressure washers, replacement parts, and cleaning chemicals to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom.
• Process sales transactions and manage inventory using point-of-sale systems.
• Assist with receiving shipments and restocking shelves.
• Support outside sales and service teams as needed.
