About The Position
At Pick Your Part, the Sales - Retail Counter employee provides superior customer service to walk-in retail and wholesale customers. The role includes identifying vehicle parts through inventory software, processing sales transactions, coordinating with parts pullers, maintaining merchandise displays, and handling customer returns and warranty claims. The position is based in an office environment and involves walking, standing, or sitting for several hours at a time, as well as repetitive computer work. The role offers full-time work and opportunities for long-term growth.

Responsibilities
- Provide immediate, high-quality service to walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
- Use inventory software to help customers find parts that match their vehicles, using vehicles on-site.
- Manage the front counter and process cash and credit transactions through POS systems.
- Communicate with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers who request that the company pull them.
- Set up and maintain displays of popular parts, such as batteries, fluids, and tools, to encourage additional sales.
- Inspect returned parts to verify their condition and process credits or warranty claims.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
