About The Position

J.Crew is hiring a seasonal Friends & Family Associate to help create an efficient, welcoming customer experience and maintain store operations. The role supports associates in exceeding customer expectations, assists customers directly and at checkout, and helps maintain merchandise presentation, fitting rooms, and the stockroom. Associates are expected to act in a manner aligned with J.Crew’s values.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be available during busy periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to bend, reach, and stretch, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
• Be able to regularly move around all store areas and remain accessible to customers.
• Be a team player who brings their best to their work.
• Be flexible and ready to have fun.
• Leverage technology to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Support associates in exceeding customer expectations.
• Respond to customers in the moment and partner them with other associates as needed.
• Assist at the cashwrap to ensure an efficient checkout experience.
• Comply with merchandise receiving and handling guidelines.
• Maintain presentation standards.
• Keep fitting rooms organized and promptly return product to the sales floor.
• Keep the stockroom organized.
• Act in a manner that aligns with J.Crew’s values.
