Friends & Family Associate (Seasonal)
About The Position
The Friends & Family Associate supports store associates in exceeding customer expectations by responding to customers and connecting them with other associates as needed. The role assists with checkout, follows merchandise receiving and handling guidelines, maintains store presentation, keeps fitting rooms organized, returns product promptly to the sales floor, and maintains an organized stockroom. Associates are expected to act in a manner aligned with J.Crew’s values. This seasonal role requires availability during busy periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to move throughout store areas and assist customers.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be available during busy periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be able to bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
- Be able to regularly move around all store areas and remain accessible to customers.
- Be a team player and bring your best to the work.
- Be flexible and ready to have fun.
- Leverage technology to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Support associates to exceed customer expectations.

- Assist at the cashwrap to ensure an efficient checkout experience.
- Comply with merchandise receiving and handling guidelines.
- Maintain presentation standards.
- Keep the fitting rooms organized and move product back to the floor promptly.
- Keep the stockroom organized.
