About The Position
The Friends & Family Associate supports store associates in exceeding customer expectations by responding to customers’ needs and partnering them with other associates when appropriate. The role also assists with checkout, merchandise handling, store presentation, fitting-room organization, and stockroom organization. Associates are expected to act in a way that aligns with J.Crew Group’s values and to be available during busy periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a seasonal position.
Requirements

- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be available when the store is busy, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be able to bend, reach, stretch, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
- Be able to regularly move around all store areas and remain accessible to customers.
Responsibilities
- Support associates to exceed customer expectations.
- Respond to customers in the moment and partner them with other associates as needed.
- Assist at the cashwrap to ensure an efficient checkout experience.
- Comply with merchandise receiving and handling guidelines.
- Maintain presentation standards.
- Keep fitting rooms organized and move product back to the floor promptly.
- Keep the stockroom organized.
- Act in a manner that aligns with the company’s values.
