About The Position

Mercier Consultancy Group is seeking a French Speaking iRobot Support Specialist to join a client's team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role involves providing expert guidance and technical support to French-speaking customers for iRobot smart home devices. Requirements

  • Native or fluent French language proficiency (both spoken and written) is essential for this role — a strong command of French is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • Valid EU passport (mandatory for employment eligibility).
  • A genuine interest in consumer electronics, smart home technology, or IoT devices, with the ability to quickly learn and communicate product knowledge confidently.
  • Previous experience in customer service, technical support, or a related field within the consumer electronics or technology industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a calm, methodical, and customer-friendly manner.
  • Proficiency in English at a communicative level to support internal team collaboration and training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude toward customer care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, professional, and empathetic customer support to French-speaking iRobot users via phone, email, and live chat channels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to iRobot consumer electronics products, including robotic vacuum cleaners and smart home devices, ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Guide customers through product setup, Wi-Fi connectivity, app configuration, and firmware updates in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Accurately log all customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions into the company's CRM system, maintaining thorough and up-to-date records.
  • Escalate complex technical faults or recurring product defects to the appropriate internal teams within the consumer electronics support division, following established protocols.
  • Proactively stay informed about new iRobot product launches, software updates, and developments within the consumer electronics sector to provide accurate and current advice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify patterns in customer feedback and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the iRobot brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, consistently upholding the high standards expected by a leading consumer electronics company.
