Requirements
- Native or fluent French language proficiency (both spoken and written) is essential for this role.
- Valid EU passport is mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for internal collaboration and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, critical thinking, and composure when handling sensitive or distressing online content.
- High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in relation to French-speaking markets and online communities.
- Comfortable working in a structured, on-site environment in Sofia, Bulgaria, with the ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules as required by the social media platform.

- Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or a related field within the social media or digital industry is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Review, assess, and moderate French-language user-generated content across social media platforms, ensuring strict compliance with established community standards and platform policies.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate harmful, abusive, or policy-violating content including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material, and spam within the social media ecosystem.
- Analyse emerging trends in online harmful behaviour and contribute actionable insights to help strengthen the platform's trust and safety frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Policy, Legal, and Engineering to refine content moderation workflows and improve detection accuracy.
- Handle sensitive escalations with professionalism, cultural awareness, and a thorough understanding of French-speaking communities and digital communication norms.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of reviewed content and moderation decisions in accordance with internal quality and compliance standards.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with platform policy updates, social media industry developments, and best practices in digital trust and safety.
- Provide feedback on policy gaps and edge cases, supporting continuous improvement in the platform's safety and integrity operations.
