About The Position

As a remote interpreter, you facilitate communication between French and English speakers. You must process information quickly and accurately while maintaining professionalism. The role requires a quiet and secure work environment; the interpreter works from a home office. Note pads and writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools. The position offers ongoing training and competency opportunities and monthly payments at a per-minute rate. Depending on location, language testing, a background check, and/or a drug screen may be required.

Requirements

Fluency in English and French.
Proficiency at a bilingual or native level in English and the target language.
Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
A quiet and secure work environment.
Computer or laptop running Windows 10 or higher.
USB wired headset.
Steady wired internet connection.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of interpretation experience is preferred.
Note pads and writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.
