About The Position

DATAMARK, Inc. is seeking a professional and experienced Bilingual Medical Interpreter to facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings. The role provides verbal interpretation of medical conversations and assists with translating medical documents and forms. The interpreter is expected to maintain confidentiality and professional ethical standards, stay current with medical terminology and procedures, and build trust with patients and healthcare professionals. The position requires a personal computer and specified computer, connectivity, audio, and camera equipment. Work must be performed from the approved location using a wired Ethernet connection; VPN use is not allowed. Company information may not be stored, and recordings, screenshots, and built-in translation features are prohibited.

Requirements

Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to different dialects and accents.
Strong listening and comprehension skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
A personal computer is required.
Computer must have an Intel Core i5 processor (8th generation or newer) or Ryzen 5 (3000 series or higher), at least 4 cores / 8 threads, 8–16 GB RAM, and a 256 GB SSD or larger.
A wired Ethernet connection is mandatory; VPN use is not allowed, and work must be performed only from the approved location.
A wired headset with a unidirectional, noise-canceling boom microphone is required; wireless devices, earbuds, and speakers are not allowed.
A 1080p camera at 30–60 fps with autofocus is required, either built-in or equivalent external equipment.
