About The Position

Liberty is seeking a Freelance Fragrance Specialist to work 15–25 hours per week at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, supporting counters across North America. Reporting to the LBTY North American Sales Manager, the specialist will act as a passionate brand ambassador, apply expert fragrance knowledge, provide exceptional customer service, and maximize sales opportunities. The role includes engaging customers, understanding their needs, demonstrating product knowledge, resolving customer concerns, and working with store teams on events, sales, and sampling. The specialist will also maintain the display, check stock, communicate inventory concerns, and provide a weekly recap of sales, client interactions, stock, in-store events, and sample inventory. Responsibilities

Act as the point of contact between customers and LBTY at the assigned store.
Acknowledge customers and initiate conversations.
Ask open-ended questions to establish customer needs.
Provide excellent service to maximize sales.
Take responsibility for resolving customer problems.
Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge.
Address objections by offering relevant alternatives.
Collaborate with store teams on events, sales, and sampling.
Clean and dust the display at the beginning of each shift.
Check stock at the beginning of each shift to ensure all SKUs are available.
Communicate low-stock and out-of-stock concerns to the North American Sales Manager.
Send a weekly recap after the last weekly shift, covering sales and SKUs sold, memorable client interactions, stock concerns, in-store events, and tested/sample inventory.
