Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, St Clair Square
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you will help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You will maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, assisting with transactions, and keeping the department shop-ready. This role combines customer service and sales support during the busy seasonal period and calls for flexible team players who can handle multiple tasks and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Colleagues help prepare the sales floor, stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and engage customers with a warm welcome and personal conversation. They maintain merchandise and displays, support transactions, share loyalty-program benefits, and collaborate with teammates to deliver customer and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Meet daily sales goal challenges.

- Work independently while contributing to team dynamics.
- Talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands as required.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching, including above eye level, are required.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
- Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers and build relationships through friendly, personal conversations.
- Merchandise new receipts and maintain a shoppable, fully stocked fragrance department.
- Process damages and testers, and select merchandise to return to vendors.
- Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves.
- Assist with customer transactions and share loyalty-program benefits.
- Ensure customers have what they need and thank them for their business.
- Support teammates through honest, caring collaboration and work toward sales goals and store results.
