About The Position

TFI Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foster Care Worker to support children and families and advance the organization’s mission of strengthening families and advocating for children’s well-being. The worker partners with children and families to help ensure children can thrive safely in their home environments. The role includes teaching skills such as emotion regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and building healthy relationships. It also involves supporting foster parents by helping train and license them and guiding them in providing care for children in their homes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in the human services field.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and families to help ensure children can thrive safely in their home environments.
• Teach skills including emotion regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and building healthy relationships.
• Help train and license foster parents.
• Guide and support foster parents in providing care for children in their homes.
