About The Position

TFI Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foster Care Worker to work with children and families and help ensure children can thrive safely in their home environments. The role involves teaching skills such as emotion regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and building healthy relationships. The worker also supports foster parents by helping train and license them and guiding them in providing care for children in their homes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in the human services field.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and families to support children’s safety and well-being in their home environments.
• Teach skills including emotion regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and building healthy relationships.
• Help train and license foster parents.
• Guide foster parents in providing care for children in their homes.
