About The Position

TFI Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foster Care Worker to support children and families and advance the organization’s mission of strengthening families and advocating for children’s well-being. The worker partners with children and families to help children thrive safely in their home environments. The role includes teaching skills such as emotion regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and building healthy relationships. The worker also supports foster parents by helping train and license them and guiding them in providing care for children in their homes.

Applicants are asked to complete a Predictive Index assessment, which takes approximately 5–7 minutes. The posting lists an average hourly rate of $21.83, including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in the human services field.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Work with children and families to help ensure children can thrive safely in their home environments.
