About The Position

Hebbia is seeking a Forward-Deployed Product Manager to help financial institutions apply AI to their workflows. The role owns customer engagements from problem discovery and success criteria through implementation, rollout, and measurable business impact. Working directly with customers and engineers, the product manager leads engagements, makes product decisions, and keeps delivery moving. The work includes onsite customer time, testing workflows with real data, and addressing integration, permission, and adoption constraints. The role is accountable for delivering working solutions and helping turn successful approaches into reusable capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping software with engineering teams and independently leading customer implementations from discovery and scoping through launch and adoption.
  • Experience delivering for customers under pressure, navigating conflicting stakeholder priorities, and constructively challenging requests to protect quality and outcomes.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, and data systems, including the ability to investigate problems and make practical tradeoffs with engineers.
  • Strong product and commercial judgment, including defining a valuable first release, assessing delivery effort, and making clear recommendations with incomplete information.
  • Clear communication with executives, end users, and engineers; ability to explain technical constraints and build agreement on a practical plan.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools to build prototypes, analyze data, and investigate workflow problems.
  • Willingness to own delivery details, test solutions, troubleshoot issues, and follow through until customers use the solution successfully.
  • Comfort with regular travel and onsite customer work, including multi-day visits during discovery and deployment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise software deployments, financial services workflows, or AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales and customer teams to assess opportunities, shape feasible initial engagements, and identify where AI can deliver value.
  • Translate customer needs into requirements, workflow designs, prototypes, and delivery plans for engineers.
  • Partner with engineers on integrations, data access, permissions, and AI behavior; make product decisions and resolve implementation dependencies.
  • Lead day-to-day delivery relationships with customer stakeholders, communicate progress, surface risks, and manage scope and priority changes.
  • Validate solutions against representative customer tasks, define acceptance criteria, and resolve quality and reliability issues before rollout.
  • Own rollout, user enablement, and adoption; measure business outcomes and address gaps.
  • Identify patterns across engagements and work with product and engineering teams to develop reusable capabilities and deployment practices.
  • Work onsite with customers and travel regularly for discovery, implementation, and rollout.
