About The Position
Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Forklift Hoist Operator for its Appleton, Wisconsin location. The role operates warehouse equipment to support assembly and fulfillment, including picking products from elevated warehouse racks, replenishing and putting away inventory, and loading and unloading trucks. The operator also uses hand scanners and computer systems and performs inventory counts. The first-shift schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights of 30 feet or more and able to meet the physical requirements of the position. Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of the shift.
- Comfortable working at heights of 30 feet or more.

- Prior forklift or hoist experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate a picker, turret, forklift, and walkie rider.
- Pick products by hand and machine from warehouse-height racks to support the assembly and fulfillment department.
- Assist with replenishment and putaways.
