About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Forklift Hoist Operator for its second shift at its Appleton, Wisconsin location. The operator supports assembly and fulfillment by moving, picking, replenishing, and staging warehouse inventory using powered equipment and hand-scanning and computer systems. No experience is necessary; training is provided. The role requires comfort working at heights of 30 feet or more and the ability to meet the listed physical requirements. The base schedule is 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $20 per hour, plus a $1-per-hour second-shift differential. Employees may earn an additional $2–$6 per hour through a performance-based incentive program, with the opportunity to earn up to $27 per hour. A pay increase may be available after successful completion of a 90-day review. Requirements

Comfortable working at heights of 30 feet or more.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of the shift.

Prior forklift or hoist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a picker, turret, forklift, and walkie rider.
Pick products from warehouse-height racks, by hand and machine, to support the assembly and fulfillment departments.
Assist with replenishment and putaways.
Load and unload trucks.
Use a hand scanner and computer systems.
Work with inventory and perform counts.
