About The Position

The Utica City School District is seeking qualified candidates for its Youth Sports Summer Program, which includes Football. Requirements

NYS Coaching Certification
Interscholastic Coaching experience in Football
CPR/FA for coaches or responding to emergencies/AED certification
Concussion Management Certification
Fingerprint Clearance

Responsibilities

Coach students in Football, focusing on developing agility, coordination, and team dynamics.
Instill life skills such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, responsibility, perseverance, and resilience through sport.
Ensure a safe and structured environment for students during critical hours of the day.
Potentially integrate academic components tied to sports, such as sports science or data analysis.
Participate in end-of-session events like tournaments or field days to encourage family engagement.
