About The Position

Krafted Kitchen Collection is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker for its Foodworks Northern Trust location in Chicago, Illinois. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed, following approved recipes, production standards, service procedures, and food safety requirements. The scheduled days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM; further details are provided during the interview. The pay range is $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. A free shift meal is offered. Previous food service or customer service experience is required; previous barista experience is preferred, and training is available. Responsibilities

Prepare food, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
Store food in designated areas using required wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner while following outlined service steps.
Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Follow company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
