About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Food Service Team Member for the 2027 spring/summer season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The role involves welcoming guests, providing product and service information, accurately processing transactions, and preparing and fulfilling food orders. Team members also assist with store operations, inventory, setup, opening and closing duties, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. Yellowstone General Stores locations include areas near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. Employee housing is available in dorm-style accommodations or full-hookup RV sites. The position offers flexible schedules, with an expected 32–40 hours per week. Team members have opportunities to enjoy park recreation and may have access to training, development, and internal mobility opportunities.

Requirements

Ability to provide excellent guest service.
Basic math skills and ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate with guests and receive orders.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for the entire length of the shift.
Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding available products and services.
Assist with daily operational procedures, including setup, opening, and closing duties.
Organize inventory and promptly report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Take and fulfill guest orders promptly and accurately, including scooping ice cream and preparing menu items.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift.
Accurately record transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle credit cards, and provide correct change as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
