About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Custodians for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, for the 2027 spring/summer season. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the stores to support guest satisfaction and a positive visitor experience. Employees can expect flexible schedules of 32–40 hours per week. Yellowstone General Stores are located in areas including Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Limited to no experience required.
Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
Ability to work quickly under pressure.
Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
Ability to frequently walk and stand for the entire shift; climb stairs; bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and carry; and lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
No high school diploma or GED required.

Guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures; replenish supplies and maintain sanitation guidelines.
Conduct walk-arounds of assigned areas to ensure facilities meet housekeeping standards.
Interact with guests while cleaning and assist guests as needed.
Report maintenance or repair problems to maintenance staff or management.
Turn in and log all lost-and-found items daily.
Empty wastebaskets, transport trash and waste to the disposal area, and sort recycling.
Keep storage rooms and work areas neat, clean, and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
