About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Retail Supervisors at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, for the 2027 spring/summer season. The role supervises and trains retail team members and helps maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures. Yellowstone General Stores operate at locations throughout the park, including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The position offers a fast-paced, hands-on work environment serving guests and working with a diverse team. Employees can expect to work 32–40 hours per week. Dorm-style housing and full-hookup RV sites are available, and an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities are offered.

Requirements

At least one year of supervisory experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with staff and prepare written reports.
Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to direct several associates’ work activities simultaneously and plan.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Basic math skills, including accurately handling money and counting change.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform constant standing, lifting, stair climbing, repetitive motions, bending, reaching, and ladder climbing.

Responsibilities

Train team members and maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures.
Monitor the store floor and assist guests with their needs and requests.
Maintain merchandise tables properly.
Work with and answer to the Visual Merchandiser, Store Manager, and Assistant Manager.
Evaluate, create, and maintain professional visual displays, and direct retail associates on merchandising and displays.
Ensure the integrity of physical inventory and par levels.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout retail areas.
Initiate conflict-resolution strategies with guests and team members.
