About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Retail Supervisor at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The role supervises and trains retail team members and helps maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. The supervisor supports store operations, cash procedures, inventory integrity, guest service, and employee housing check-in and check-out processes. Yellowstone General Stores operate at locations throughout the park, including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village.

Requirements

Previous experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment.
Ability to de-escalate guest and team member complaints or concerns and redirect them to management.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, lift, climb stairs, and perform repetitive motions constantly; bend, reach, and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding available products and services.
Open and close in accordance with management directives and operational procedures.
Assist management with daily cash procedures and operations.
Learn all department roles and provide hands-on support as needed to ensure coverage and continuity of service.
Monitor the store floor, assist guests and team members, and maintain physical inventory integrity and par levels.
Accurately record transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and assist with self-checkouts.
Assist with team member check-in and check-out, including documentation, dorm-room assignments, and coordinating required maintenance and repairs for new arrivals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervise and train retail team members and help maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures.
