About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Servers for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, for the 2027 spring/summer season. This is a tipped position; the stated hourly minimum pay does not include potential tip earnings. Servers represent the restaurant and provide guests with attentive service and a memorable dining experience.

Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout the park, including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. Employee housing options include dorm-style housing and full-hookup RV sites. The role also offers access to an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities in Yellowstone National Park.

Requirements

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, which may include walking up stairs.
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks.
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
• Ability to work in variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold.

Nice To Haves

• One year of server experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience using a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, attend to their needs, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system, process payments, and prepare and deliver guest checks.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers, kitchen staff, and bar staff.
• Perform assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, and ensure equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning.
