About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Grill Cooks for the 2027 spring/summer season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The role involves preparing grilled menu items to standardized recipes and portion guidelines while maintaining company standards for quality, taste, and presentation. Cooks maintain a clean and sanitary grill station, operate and clean kitchen equipment, keep workstations organized and stocked, cooperate with team members and management, and follow assigned opening and closing procedures. The position offers 32–40 hours per week and weekly pay.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work as a team player, follow procedures, and take directions.
Basic math skills, including calculating and following recipe measurements.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
Ability to stand for long periods and bend, lift, and reach.
Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold.
No experience or diploma required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grill station and surrounding areas.
Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures; keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
Work cooperatively with team members and management.
Follow the supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
