Trainer, Yellowstone General Stores
About The Position
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Trainer for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, for the 2027 spring/summer season. The Trainer supports associates in delivering excellent guest service by learning and delivering training modules, leading training sessions, identifying additional training needs, and helping supervisory team members complete on-site modules. The role tracks training completion, shares updates with the compliance team, and communicates training feedback to store management. The position offers a flexible schedule of 32–40 hours per week in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for complete 8-hour shifts.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, reach, and repetitively move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Learn alcohol, food safety, NetSuite, and point-of-sale training modules to train incoming associates effectively.
- Lead training sessions for associates, identify when additional support or training is needed, and adapt training methods to help associates understand.
- Assist with train-the-trainer activities for store supervisory team members completing on-site modules.
- Track training completion and provide updates to the compliance team.
- Communicate training feedback to store management.
