About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a seasonal Grocery Supervisor to join the team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, for the 2027 spring/summer season. The supervisor assists management with daily operations and helps ensure the team’s success. Yellowstone General Stores operate at locations throughout the park, including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. Employee housing, RV sites, meals, store discounts, and recreational activities are available.

Requirements

Ability to communicate job procedures and provide clear, concise instructions.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift; ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
No college degree required.

Nice To Haves

Retail inventory management and ordering experience, preferably using online portals such as NetSuite.
At least one year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise grocery associates and assign employees to operational work, following up on results.
Train associates and help maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures.
Manage inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, and cycle counting.
Open and close retail locations as directed by management.
Maintain the safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas.
Monitor the store floor, assist guests, and ensure the integrity of physical inventory and par levels.
Perform other duties as assigned.
