Retail Lead, Yellowstone General Stores
About The Position
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Retail Lead for the 2027 spring/summer season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The role supervises and trains retail associates and helps ensure the department operates effectively, merchandise is stocked and displayed attractively, and selling and back-stock areas are maintained. The Retail Lead assists guests and team members and refers concerns or questions to a supervisor or manager when needed. Yellowstone General Stores operate at locations throughout the park, including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The position offers flexible schedules of 32–40 hours per week and access to employee housing, an optional meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities. This seasonal role does not include the additional insurance and vacation benefits available to eligible year-round positions at other Delaware North properties.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to de-escalate guest and team member complaints or concerns and redirect them to management.

- Previous experience leading in a retail space is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train retail associates.
- Assign employees and follow up on work results to meet store and warehouse operational needs.
- Verify merchandise is properly stocked and attractively displayed.
- Ensure selling space is clean and in proper condition.
- Maintain orderly back stock and liaise with vendors to maintain proper inventory.
- Assist guests and team members, escalating concerns or questions to a supervisor or manager as needed.
