About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Retail Cashier to work at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, for the 2027 spring/summer season. The role manages transactions while providing excellent guest service in a fast-paced retail environment. Stores are located throughout the park, including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village.

Requirements

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to accurately handle money and count change.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Ability to climb stairs and use a step stool frequently.
Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish merchandise and operate a point-of-sale system.
No high school diploma or GED is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, answer questions, and provide assistance.
Process sales using a point-of-sale system and bag merchandise.
Maintain records related to sales.
Stock merchandise and maintain back-stock.
Verify the bank amount at the beginning and end of each shift.
Assist guests with self-checkout.
Perform other duties as assigned.
