About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Food Service Supervisors for the 2027 spring/summer season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The supervisor leads team members in providing exceptional guest service and oversees front-of-house activities for assigned shifts. Yellowstone General Stores operate at locations including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. Employee housing and RV sites are available, along with an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities.

Requirements

At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Previous cash-handling or cashier experience.
Ability to implement rules and direct employees.
Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions constantly.
Ability to lift stock weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
May be required to work outdoors or in variable temperatures depending on the season.
Frequently able to reach up to 6–7 feet, twist at the waist, bend, and squat.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain employee work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house team members on a per-shift basis, including training and counseling employees and enforcing work procedures and service standards.
Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and properly storing supplies and food items to ensure availability, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
Learn all roles within the department and provide hands-on support as needed.
Ensure proper cash handling and tip record-keeping for the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
