About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Painter for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, for the 2027 Spring/Summer season. The Painter carries out routine maintenance, including painting interior and exterior areas, and supports the maintenance team in keeping the property in good condition. The role contributes to guest satisfaction and experience during their stay. Work schedules are flexible, with an expected 32–40 hours per week.

Requirements

At least 1 year of painting experience in a commercial facility.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must pass drug screening.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, crouch, and climb a ladder.
Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, washing surfaces, and filling holes with putty.
Paint surfaces throughout the property using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Apply finishes, primers, or sealers to interior and exterior surfaces.
Maintain a safe and clean work area in accordance with company regulations and policies.
Assist the groundskeepers team when needed.
Drive a company-provided vehicle to and from painting locations.
