About The Position

The Food Service Coordinator monitors the preparation and distribution of food and nutrition services to customers and assists with department operations. The role includes managing supplies, directing daily employee workflow, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and taking on additional operational responsibilities as needed, including coverage in the supervisor’s absence.

Employees must follow the company’s ethical, legal, and behavioral standards, including its Code of Business Conduct and applicable company policies. The position may provide access to covered information, payment-card data, or confidential customer information, which must be protected in accordance with HIPAA and company privacy and information security policies. Requirements

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of food service experience.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to count money bags and make change.

Responsibilities

• Complete inventory, order and restock supplies, and deliver supplies.
• Direct the daily workflow of departmental employees to maximize productivity and meet time schedules.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assume additional responsibilities, which may include deposits, interviewing, scheduling, timekeeping, training, catering, and overseeing department operations in the supervisor’s absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
• Protect covered information, cardholder data, and confidential customer information, and comply with HIPAA and company privacy and information security policies.
• Comply with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, applicable laws and regulations, company policies, and training requirements.
