About The Position

TeamHealth and Saint Vincent Hospital are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible intensivist trained in pulmonary and critical care to join the ICU team in Worcester, Massachusetts. The physician works as part of a collaborative two-physician coverage team each day, alongside experienced advanced practice clinicians, providing care across an 18-bed ICU and 12-bed PCU. The role includes managing inpatient pulmonary consultations and follow-ups and caring for critically ill patients. Shifts are 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 8 a.m.–8 p.m., with a flexible schedule of 10–12 shifts per month. The estimated annual base salary is $320,000–$420,000, with the opportunity to earn incentives.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible intensivist.
• Training in pulmonary and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill patients in the ICU and PCU.
• Manage inpatient pulmonary consultations and follow-ups.
• Work collaboratively within a two-physician daily coverage team and alongside advanced practice clinicians.
