About The Position

The Food Service Call Center Associate assists patients with menu selection to help ensure they receive appropriate nutrition-related items. The role enters tube feeding orders in accordance with diet orders and usage, and sets up TIM with iPhones. It also supports food handling, tray delivery, and cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• CBORD training and knowledge.
• Strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from patients and nursing staff to assist with menu selection in compliance with therapeutic diets.
• Help patients with carbohydrate counting, fluid restrictions, and other Medical Nutrition Therapy parameters as needed.
• Edit and enter menu selections into the computer system and verify physician or physician extender orders.
• Enter tube feeding orders in accordance with diet orders and usage.
• Set up TIM with iPhones.
• Use proper food handling and storage techniques when assembling patient trays and receiving, rotating, and storing food.
• Deliver and retrieve food carts and ensure patient trays are delivered according to the tray delivery system.
• Support cleaning pots and pans in the sink area.
• Comply with applicable laws, company policies, privacy requirements, information security guidelines, and the Code of Business Conduct.
