About The Position

Under the direction of the Food & Nutrition management team, the Food Service Associate serves and delivers food and nutritional products to patients and customers while providing exemplary customer service. The role includes assignments across the Food & Nutrition Department, including food assembly, hostessing, cashiering, dining room assistance, pot cleaning, and cleaning assistance. Work may take place in the kitchen, Blue Wave Cafeteria, and Concourse Café.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of job-related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal trays and serve and/or deliver food to patients and customers.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary work area.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Follow daily job assignments, cleaning assignments, and scheduled hours as posted.
• Ensure proper care and treatment of technology when assigned.
• Follow departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
• Comply with the dress code, including cleanliness, grooming, and neatness.
