On-Call Food Service Associate
About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide to work at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. This is considered a full-time position with an average of 28 hours/week or more. This is an on-call position, primarily for evening (3:45pm-7:30pm) and weekend hours (breakfast, lunch, or dinner), but other shifts may be available during the week. Minimum age of 18 years old is required to be considered for this role. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Requirements
- Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher.
- Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register.
- Maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.
