About The Position

The Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide performs patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services at Select Specialty Hospital Oklahoma City, a critical illness recovery hospital. The role contributes to food preparation and serves prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, then assists with cleanup. The aide is expected to work in a timely and efficient manner, provide high-quality food preparation and service, complete scheduled procedures during the shift without compromising quality, help in other kitchen areas when needed, and operate equipment safely.

This is a PRN/per-diem position paying $18.00 per hour. The hospital provides an extensive orientation program and notes that strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities. Part-time/per-diem employees may qualify for 401(k) eligibility after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year.
