About The Position

As a Restaurant Food Server, you provide guests with prompt, courteous service while ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and a positive dining experience. You take orders, deliver food and beverages, and maintain a well-organized section throughout your shift. The role is based at the Courtyard San Diego Del Mar Solana Beach in Solana Beach, California, and is full time with a swing shift.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented.
• Comfort using POS and restaurant systems.
• Must possess or obtain a valid TIPS Certification within established company timelines.
• Flexibility to work any shifts and days of the week, including holidays and weekends.

• Previous serving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver orders promptly and ensure correct presentation.
• Check back with guests and ensure satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section and service areas.
• Assist with resetting tables and support teammates as needed.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and service standards.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service teams.
• Handle payment transactions and follow proper cash handling procedures.
