About The Position

Provide guests with exceptional service to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service, comply with corporate, franchise, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements, and meet or exceed financial goals. The role includes preparing and maintaining the service station, welcoming guests, accurately recording and entering orders, delivering food and beverages, checking guest satisfaction, and processing payments.

Requirements

Maintain a professional appearance and manner.
Be willing to help coworkers and work as a team player.
Have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
Know appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.
Be able to remember, recite, and promote menu items.
Be able to transport trays weighing up to 30 pounds through a crowded room continuously during the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to operate beverage and toast equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Be able to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures.
Have effective verbal and written communication skills and adapt communication to different audiences.

Responsibilities

Check the station before, during, and after the shift to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
Greet guests courteously and explain specials or restaurant promotions.
Record guest orders, repeat them to confirm accuracy, and enter them into the Point of Sale system for the kitchen.
Retrieve completed orders from the kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver them with appropriate condiments.
Follow state, federal, and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
Replenish beverages and check guests' overall satisfaction.
Promote and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
Use Point of Sale procedures to pre-check orders and close checks.
Present checks to guests promptly.
Follow attendance requirements and maintain regular availability for work.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
