The Food Runner is responsible for warmly greeting guests, organizing tickets for the kitchen, and acting as a liaison between the service staff and the kitchen. This role ensures ticket time standards are met by effectively managing courses, communicating any food issues with the Chef, and accurately delivering food to the correct tables. The Food Runner also assists servers and bussers, stages appropriate utensils and condiments, and ensures food is served at the correct temperature, at the correct table, and on time. Maintaining cleanliness and stock of the Expo area, completing side work, minimizing waste, and assisting in other restaurant aspects as needed are also key responsibilities.
