About The Position

Azario Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida, is hiring a part-time Food Runner for Barrel House Bistro. The role supports dining-room service at a fast-paced hospitality-focused property and involves preparing service materials and tables, coordinating food from the kitchen to guests, maintaining dining areas and workstations, and assisting servers. The position requires one month of related experience or training, professionalism, cleanliness, neatness, and regular, reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operations.
Know the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
Set the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed to deliver food.
Organize plates in the window and match each plate with its ticket before delivering food to tables.
Set tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
Ensure each menu item is prepared exactly as specified on its ticket.
Work with the chef to correct any menu item that does not meet the ticket specifications before delivering it.
Fill and refill water glasses and remove unused place settings.
Clear dishes in front of guests after each course.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, positioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
Assist servers as needed.
Keep workstations stocked with items and ingredients.
Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
Perform other duties as required.
