About The Position

Azario Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida, is hiring a part-time Food Runner for Barrel House Bistro. The role supports dining room and lounge service by preparing service materials and tables, organizing and delivering food according to guest tickets, assisting servers, and maintaining clean, stocked workstations and dining areas. The position requires safe work practices, professionalism, cleanliness, neatness, and regular, reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.
Know the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
Set the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery.
Organize plates in the window and match each plate with its ticket before running food to tables.
Set tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
Ensure each menu item matches the exact details on its ticket; consult the chef before delivery if an item does not meet the ticket specifications.
Fill and refill water glasses and remove unused place settings.
Clear dishes in front of guests upon completion of a course.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, placing chairs at tables, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
Assist servers as needed.
Keep workstations stocked with items and ingredients.
Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
Perform other duties as required.
