About The Position

CC Holdings is hiring full-time and part-time Cashier/CSR team members for Java House Bistro at the Indianapolis International Airport. The role serves customers in a fast-paced café environment and supports restaurant operations by preparing food, maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, handling payments, and working collaboratively with the team. Employees are expected to follow café guidelines, food-safety procedures, and the company’s HEART Culture: Heartfelt, Efficient, Accountable, Respectful, and Team-Oriented. The location operates Monday through Sunday, with shifts varying between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Nights and weekends are required. The anticipated start date is between October and December, depending on hiring and onboarding timelines. A valid driver’s license is required to obtain an airport parking pass. The role may involve standing and walking for extended periods, moving around restaurant work areas, preparing and handling food, operating restaurant equipment, interacting with customers and team members, maintaining cleanliness, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items consistent with the role. Employees must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license to obtain an airport parking pass.
Knowledge of food-service procedures, sanitation practices, and safe food-handling standards.

Responsibilities

Arrive in proper uniform and comply with grooming standards.
Set up the station according to café guidelines.
Prepare food items in a sanitary and timely manner, following portion-control and presentation specifications.
Restock items as needed during shifts.
Clean and maintain stations while following safety, sanitation, and organizational procedures.
Use and maintain station equipment properly.
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Follow food-safety procedures for sanitation, handling, covering, and storage.
Follow cash-handling procedures; record orders, handle payments, give change, and balance drawers.
Thank customers and encourage repeat business.
Promote products, services, and special promotions through suggestive selling.
Assist with on-the-job training for new baristas and cashiers.
Work collaboratively with team members to support operations and company standards.
Perform additional duties as needed.
