About The Position

Azario Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida, is hiring a part-time Bartender for Barrel House Bistro. The role is part of a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property organization and involves preparing and serving beverages, managing bar inventory and transactions, supporting catered events, and providing guest service. The bartender is expected to follow applicable liquor laws and management procedures, communicate guest needs and supply requirements, and use safe work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and one year of bartending experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar and mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with cost control and inventory, including maintaining inventory records.
• Monitor food and beverage products and promptly inform management when supplies are needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and management standard operating procedures.
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Account for checks and cash transactions and use the Point of Sales System.
• Review banquet schedules for changes, the calendar of events, and special events.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serve meals to guests.
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
