About The Position

The Food Runner/Expo supports a quality dining experience by ensuring guests receive their dishes efficiently, courteously, and accurately. The role helps maintain a clean, dry, safe, and welcoming work environment for guests and coworkers. Duties may also include buffet setup and replenishment, room service assistance, and supporting other restaurant personnel as needed.

Requirements

Food Handler Certification.
Alcohol Awareness Certification, if applicable.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the restaurant POS system.
Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to take initiative.
Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a related or supportive role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome restaurant guests.
Deliver food to tables promptly and at the appropriate temperature.
Deposit dishes in the dishroom or another specified area.
Clean and set tables according to restaurant standards; regularly empty trash containers and stock bussing stations.
Learn and maintain knowledge of food, wine, and beverage menus.
Clean stations, including sweeping floors with provided tools.
Set up and refill the buffet as needed.
Assist with room service when needed.
Help other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary.
Attend required company and restaurant trainings and meetings.
Communicate with other staff and management.
