About The Position

The Food Production Packager works in a cheese room and warehouse setting, preparing completed items for shipment or storage. The role involves packaging, weighing, and labeling products; following company packaging guidelines; identifying and disposing of defective items; maintaining records of materials; and keeping the work area clean. Training is provided. The position is located in St. George, Utah, and pays $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

GED or high school diploma.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Able to pass a background check.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Able to lift up to 50–75 pounds.
Good vision, depth perception, hearing, and speech.
No known allergic reactions or sensitivity to chemicals, dust, or fumes.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse Associate experience preferred.
Previous mixing or machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
Follow company guidelines regarding packaging.
Identify and dispose of defective items.
Use packaging materials and related hand tools, glues, nails, and padding properly.
Maintain complete records of materials that pass through the warehouse.
Keep the work area clean.
