Food & Beverage Supervisor - Crossroads
About The Position
The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees the department’s day-to-day functions, provides excellent customer service, and contributes to department requirements and standards. The role assists the Department Manager with developing, implementing, and maintaining quality service standards; ensures food and beverages are served professionally and promptly; monitors department setup and maintenance to confirm side work is complete; interacts with guests to support a positive experience; attends daily pre-meal meetings; conducts ongoing service training for associates; and assists with daily shift reports.
Requirements
- At least two years of customer service experience.
- At least two years of Food and Beverage experience.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional guest recovery skills.
- Enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A positive attitude.
- Willingness to participate in a learning environment.
- Ability to integrate company values throughout all interactions.
- Ability to quickly adapt to using new software products effectively.
- Dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands.
- Employees who serve alcohol or oversee employees who serve alcohol must obtain or hold a valid SC-approved Alcohol Server Training Certificate; the company reimburses the cost.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a luxury hotel preferred.
